April

April has been a Doula and Certified Professional Midwife for twenty-two years. She is also an experienced Lactation Consultant, Craniosacral pratitioner, Emotional Release Therapist, and intuitive bodyworker with a busy private practice in Kettering, Ohio. She is the founder of Birth With Spirit Doula Certification Training and has trained hundreds of people in the art and science of providing Whole Person CareTM during preconception, pregnancy, birth and postpartum.

Jodi

Dr. Jodi supports families near Greater Cincinnati, Ohio as they grow through all of life's seasons, including pregnancy, birth, postpartum, back-to-work and beyond. She holds a PhD in health promotion and education with a special focus in maternal and child health. Jodi is also a Certified Doula and teaches childbirth education as an Evidence Based Birth® Instructor. For the past decade she has worked as a trained researcher, professor and nonprofit leader.

Certified Doula and Breastfeeding Specialist

Courtney G.

Courtney has been supporting mamas and babies for almost 15 years. Courtney has a passion for breastfeeding with a specialty in tandem feeding. She is a breastfeeding specialist and a Certified Birth With Spirit Doula. Her heart lies in faith-filled encouragement, informing and supporting women as they find their true power throughout all stages of life—whether that be pre-pregnancy, pregnancy, birth or postpartum. Courtney serves Dayton and surrounding areas.

Full Spectrum Doula

Eboné

Eboné is a full spectrum doula. Her promise is to keep you connected to all of the support and resources that are here to make motherhood SOOO much easier on you. Your family is her family, and she welcomes you into motherhood. In addition to her role as a doula, Eboné is a Community Health Worker, and Health Champion. She is CPR certified and a First Aid Mental Health Responder. She grew up in Mt Healthy but resides in Avondale, Cincinnati.

Certified Postpartum Doula

Courtney S.

Courtney is a Certified Postpartum Doula and is working towards her Certified Lactation Counselor certification. After a difficult birth and postpartum experience, she learned just how important it is to have a village to support you. When she finally received the postpartum care she needed—6 months later—she decided to dedicate herself to providing the best care for others during their own postpartum experience. Courtney serves Champaign County and surrounding areas.

Certified Doula

Chanel

As a Birth With Spirit Certified Doula, Chanel believes in the power of choice over our bodies, especially during the process of birth. She values supporting families through their journey into parenthood. Chanel holds a bachelor degree in Psychology and a master degree in human development. Her most cherished role is being a caregiver and parent to two teenage nieces and her NICU warrior baby boy.

Certified Nurse Midwife and Doula

Debra

Debbie is a longtime advocate for women birthing their babies as they see fit. As a Certified Nurse Midwife and Certified Doula, she has attended over 1500 births in hospital, birth center, and home. She provides information as an Evidence-Based Birth® instructor and is an Advanced Life Support for Obstetrics instructor. Her proudest role is mother of four and grandmother of eight.

Carolyn

Carolyn is a Cancer Doula— a person who helps you throughout the entire process from your cancer diagnosis to treatment and beyond. The model of care for a doula includes: a judgment-free, family-focused, non-medical, holistic, team approach to care. Carolyn Reveal’s 40+ years of experience and knowledge as a Registered Nurse, in combination with her empathy and wisdom from being a Certified Doula, allows her to provide evidence-based and compassionate care to her clients. As a two-time survivor herself, she has first-hand knowledge that informs her care for her clients.
